My favorite food

I think it is difficult for me to decide a food in specific, I like fast food too much, but I couldn’t pick a single dish between all that food, because my favorites are empanadas, French fries, hot dogs, pizzas and hamburgers.

2 years ago, my ex-boyfriend took me to dinner at the Monticello casino, to a restaurant I don’t remember what’s its name, but it’s one of those restaurants where you can eat all you want for 2 hours. I remember there was a lot of food, even he told me there was a very expensive meat called Wayuu, but I didn’t care, and I went to the children’s part and filled my plate 3 times with chips, fried fish and one piece of Neapolitan pizza.

Since I don’t have a favorite dish, I will describe one of the dishes I named. The Neapolitan pizza is a generally round dough that has mozzarella cheese and tomato, in my case I also add sausages and oregano.

Option 2: A website about architecture

I think any architecture student from Chile knows about the website “Plataforma Arquitectura” in Spanish or “arch daily” in English, this website is a place to research and view up to quote quality information about architectural projects and products, where you can really find everything. In the world there are so many amazing projects that are built day by day because of this website. We can not only see images of these, but also know their materials, their planimetries and sometimes even their construction costs and the inspiration of the architects who made it.

We can also select information about products and its quality, know about public competitions, events, awards and exhibitions. The peculiarity of this Chilean website is that it is the most viewed architecture site in the world, it is seeing by 13.6 million architects each month.

In my case, I am subscribed to this website as an architecture student and I visit it about 4 times a month, I do it to have varied ideas of how a project solves the different problems that can appear in the process of creation.

 My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is the smartphone, undoubtedly. But like is so common and indispensable for all the humanity, I will talk about my second favorite piece, that is the computer.

I had my first computer when I was 13 years old, it was a present from my old school and they gave me an internet modem, unfortunately it was a Movistar modem, so it didn´t help me because I had my computer without internet.

In 2018 I had to change it and I bought a better one for university, which I use for online classes, to watch series and to use photoshop, AutoCAD and SketchUp. So, I use it almost every day.

I like the computer because it is like a smartphone, but it allows more possibilities, it is much comfortable to watch series at Netflix and to play Minecraft.

Currently, I use it for almost everything, especially with the quarantine and online classes and I can´t imagine my life without one.

Why I chose study Architecture?

Since I was a little boy, I like architecture, I played with cars and I built houses, bridges and streets. I loved to see construction programs on TV, in Discovery Channel specially, which increased my taste for buildings and project design.

In last years of the school, I wanted to be geologist or civil engineer, geology for the earth study, the earthquakes and volcanoes and civil engineering for the construction of buildings same as architecture.

Finally, I chose study architecture, this because I hate chemistry and in geology is a principal subject, and between engineer or architect, I prefer design different space of one house, for example, before that study so much mathematics.

Currently I am studying in Fau and I love it, differences aren´t important, and you can be what you want. I like to make models, mathematics isn´t so hard and the pircas are the best thing of the university.

In the future, I want to work in my company of architecture, dedicated to landscaping, creating spaces for recreation and use of public spaces.

My Autobiography 

I'm Claudio Moreno and I was born on December 11th in Santa Cruz, I have a younger sister, her name is Paloma and I live with her, my mom, my dad and my dog Max.

I studied in a Little school in Auquinco and in 2014 I change to study in Santa Cruz at the IRFE (Instituto Regional Federíco Errázuriz), which was a religious school and I hated it because I'm not religious, but it was a good school.

In 2019 I moved to Santiago to study Architecture at University of Chile, I lived this year with 2 cousins, and I loved the apartment that we shared, we did parties all the weekends.

Some of my hobbies are watching Netflix, playing with my dogs, eating fast food, drinking with my family and photography, but not the common, I love taking pics of the stars at night.
